Last summer we spent about $3,000 on vacation, and no, we are not at all sorry we did. It was well worth it.
We spent about £4,000 all in ($6,000) going to Mongolia - two of us, including flights to China, trans-siberian train to Ulaan Bataar, equipment, visas, injections and so forth. That was for a period of about 10 weeks in total. Didn't regret a penny of it, and we ended up in profit overall, from selling article and photographs.
I spent $10,000 on a trip to Africa, by myself. I was treating myself for finishing up a PhD program and beating cancer...both at the same time. It was over 15 years ago, so you can imagine how much it would cost now. But I have never regretted it. I stayed and traveled around in Africa all summer. It was one of the best trips I ever had.

I believe all politicians should have a maximum salary amount of 60 thousand a year. Someone should want to be a politician for country, not for money. This set limit would disrupt greedy lying politicians from entering office. The politician will not work for "60,000" a year. The true...
