Aside from sleeping and eating, what are the best things that you can do on a rainy day?

Aside from sleeping and eating, what are the things that you would love to do when it rains outside and you do not have any option but stay inside the house?

Learn the words to a song or poem, make it a bright easy going one and it could brighten up your day.

I try to catch up on my reading. I have a stack of books that I plan on reading and a rainy day is perfect for that. I get cozy on the couch with my book, cup of coffee and favorite snack. I have the blinds open and can see the rain from where I am sitting.

Walk my dog in the rain. It is only water.

I was going to say this but I saw that you did already.  I agree that the rain is nothing to hide from.  I love the rain!  It bothers me when the weather channel states "it's going to be a miserable day," when it's raining. That's for me to decide smile

Reading, writing, the house project you've been planning to do for weeks, playing with your children, watching tv, doing a puzzle, playing a game, get on the Xbox, etc.

things to do on a rainy day ...
    1) play online poker
2)go to the casino and play poker( ok its still gambling but might as well do something productive like losing your shirt or winning someone's spouse/business  on the final table
    3) watch old tv shows and wonder why did you ever like them in the first place 9or try to find the sexual innuendos that were implied but you didn't catch them the first time
4)clean the house and find those missing socks or earrings
    5) do laundry! If you go out in the rain ,your clothes will get wet anyway and they will have to dry.

6)call people and complain how miserable you are because you have nothing to do because its raining!
