The kids and I do the normal dress up and head out stuff, but we also have our own tradition of burying an apple for the dead. For over a decade, we each take an apple out and bury it in the garden as an offering and a remembrance to those who have passed on.
I celebrated by scaring the kids with my scary music and of course lights off..then I heard the kids calling for their mommies or call for God..I had a big laugh after that but i feel bad a bit though..

I know parents with children and familys at home and school age still celebrate but I was just wondering if anyone else still celebrates Halloween and if so what do you do to celebrate? Haunted houses? haloweened themed parties? Just curious

Please don't tell me it is for the children's sake. Let me emphasize... Christians not others, but Christians.

Do you celebrate Halloween all month long?Is Halloween a single day for you or more of a season, such as Christmastime?

Does your faith effect how you celebrate Halloween?

I've heard that in some subdivisions and apartment buildings, people can expect to get as many as 500 kids looking for candy.I'm glad I moved to the countryside and only expect a few as parents drive them from house to house. My small town has a Trunk or treat event for two hours on main street.
