Now that it is 2013, do I have to expect bad luck all year?
We should use the hotel strategy and should have went on to 2014 to avoid a feeling of overwhelming creepiness.
You don't have to. I'm going to try and not think the year will be unlucky. I would then get depressed heavily with every little thing that goes wrong. It's not a good way to live and would self-fulfill the belief that the year is unlucky.
There is no such thing as luck. There are circumstances, consequences and choices. Make more of the right choices this year and the consequences of your actions will be positive. Understanding that circumstances are an everyday part of your life make choosing correctly much easier. Go and have a good 2013 and don't waste time worrying or expecting bad things to happen. I wish you all the best for 2013.....I believe it's going to be a great year!
I am not superstitious but if you will have bad luck from the year number, then we all will and be in the same boat so-to-speak.

I have a very bad luck in my life.... I do believe in the existence of luck but not in my life ....Unfortunately, I hope I'm the only one because I don't want others to experience the same things that I have been/am experiencing.

How do you break a "family curse" or "streak of bad luck" ?Many people go through life with things handed to them on a silver platter and some have to claw for each little tidbit that they get. Why is it some people have what is "called good luck" while others go...

Is it unlucky to throw away a lucky bamboo? The lucky bamboo I bought five years ago finally succumbed to my black thumb (and forgetfulness), but I fear bad luck if I throw it away.

Is Friday the 13th a superstition or for real?I have had many negative events happen on Friday the 13th. But I don't know if it's the day or the fact that the date just makes an event easier to remember; like someones birthday that falls on a holiday. What is your experience?
