Do you honor someone you've lost on Memorial Day?
Is Memorial Day a time when you honor someone special you've lost, or is it mostly a time to relax with family? Both are good ways to spend time, but some prefer one over the other. What do you prefer?
I like to honor them and especially my dad who was a WWII Vet and my brother who has passed and served in the Air Force for many years so is also a veteran. I really think more of the military dead on Memorial Day I think even though my mother and others I loved dearly have passed this just seems more for military to me; don't know why really.
Drop off flowers on the graves of deceased relatives who served in the military.

As I sit here working on a story I am looking up at a picture of my Uncle Eddie in his uniform. He served in Vietnam from 69 to 71. Most people say he was different after he came home. He died back in 75 so I don't remember him that much. I wonder who he would have been if he hadn't gone to the...
