Do you like to travel at Christmas? Or do you stay at home?
If you travel at Christmas, do you vacation or visit family?
This year I will be travelling (although I am really dreading it haha). I typically stay at home -- which is what I definitely prefer.
I have never traveled at Christmas. For us, it is family time together. Lunch, dinner, some presents for kids, ... We all first gather at my mother in law place and then at my grandparent's place. I guess we would travel if our relatives would be somewhere far away - we would so visit a family. So, so far I have never traveled at Christmas, but you never know what future will bring. Maybe my family (me, husband, kids) will develop some new family tradition But for now, we are just staying at home, having a nice time with other family members.
Great question Marcy! My family is in Italy and I live in the UK so normally I travel to see them. Unfortunately this year I won't be able to spend time with them! Christmas is only worth celebrating with your loved ones, otherwise it's a day like any other. Having said that, enjoy the holidays and have a happy new year too!

The American family is falling apart, and mothers working and dumping kids off in daycare is part of the problem. Absentee dads is also a huge problem...

How do you respond to someone who's openly disdainful to your life choices?I'm a stay-at-home mom to two sons, one with autism. Staying at home has certainly hurt us financially, but it was the right choice. I had been a kindergarten teacher and couldn't imagine being with kids all day long only to...
