What is your preference at Christmas time, artifical or real tree? And if real, what variety? If artifical what color?

      Artificial.
We have cats and don't want them swallowing pine needles etc.

Buy a real small one in a pot, and you can re-use it every year.

Living in Florida, getting a real tree would be a pain (and a nightmare to take care of), but I've had them living up north. Best thing in the world! They smell so wonderful!

The past year I decided to try something new and painted a Christmas tree mural (medium sized) on my wall in replacement of an actual tree. After xmas, I just put my photo collage back over it, so you can't see it. It's really cool smile

Neither for me. But my mom somehow found a palm tree Christmas tree. I think we used it once.

That's a tough one. I live in Oregon, so getting a real tree at a decent price is no problem. And I love the real ones! I decorate with lots of unusual ornaments. But I've developed an allergy over the past several years. So I may be converting to Fakeism soon.
