Hopefully this will help people get into the Christmas spirit, regardless of belief.
For several years, more like 5 or 6 years now, I've been unable to put up my Christmas Town, so this year I decided to put up some of the Christmas Buildings I used in my town before my cats resided here.
I hope you like.
The pictures are what I setup on top of my entertainment center, a place the cats cannot get to or reach. My niece took the pictures with her phone and uploaded to Facebook.
Oh, Cags that's beautiful! I do not have any Christmas pics yet, but will share when I do.
Thank you. Please do share yours when you get them.
Hey Hollie, here's a picture of a picture of what my Christmas Town looks like when it's completed. My niece didn't take a very good copy picture of the picture I took of it from last time it was fully on display. But, she is going to take another picture of the picture I have, and hopefully it will come out better.
But, here it is-- Thank you though.
Cagsil, that is so awesome! What a fun decoration.
It's lovely, like the kind of Christmas picture I'd like to be in.
My original town in the other picture had a railroad track and train with a white felt on the bottom to simulate snow. I had light fixtures to go along with it, to make it look like street lamps and some of the houses had fencing around them and trees that had white specks on them to show snow.
Ok, so this isn't my Christmas decorations, but thought this thread could use another pic. This is the "covered bridge" at Santa's Ranch, near San Marcos Texas.
This is such a day/night brightener, Cags.
What a great idea for a thread.
Your decorations definitely got me in the spirit!
I'll have to go snap some pics of our decor. Nothing to compare with your village!
P.S. You actually have a spot in your home where the cats cannot reach?
These are from last year because we wanted to wait until my mom was in town to decorate everything:
Ready, it's easy to add pics now! See the "add photo" button below the post you're submitting? BTW, I loved your hub with the beautiful Christmas villages!
Thanks. The white scene is painted on plastic and duct taped to my deck railing. The bushes are covered with boxed painted to look like buildings. The Santa's list is everyone in the family including the dogs! The Mrs. Santa is actually outside on my deck but I tried to make it look like she is inside. We have a decorating contest in my apt. complex every year. The winners get money knocked off their January rent!
That town is gorgeous. I love Christmas decorations...I love Christmas period. It's the most festive holiday of the year.
Okay, we put the lights on anyway, because I guess she's not coming in until the 20th.
And then the deer which are my favorite:

Some simple to make, home made table decorations for Christmas.I would love some ideas for table decorations this Christmas. I would love to make my own crackers, but have no clue how. Any gift ideas to go inside of them, and some fancy table displays that are easy to make would be great

Here's my lady, named Emma. She's a rescue who prefers belly rubs over anything, even food. When I got her she showed the wear of being on the road, cracked molars, tapeworm, and parasites. Now she's all better. That's the usual position you'll find her in.
