Give A Gift Basket For Valentine's Day

Flowers and a heart-shaped box of candy are perfectly lovely Valentine's Day gifts, but if you want to take things a step further, why don't you get the love of your life a gourmet Valentine's Day gift basket?

These baskets are gorgeous to look at and make quite a presentation. Imagine the look on the face of the person you're giving it to as you show them this elaborate-looking gift.

Even better, all of these gift baskets contain so many items that it's a gift that will last for weeks. Flowers will die in a few days and chocolates will probably be gone just as quickly. But when you give a basket with 20 different things in it, it's bound to last for a while.

There are many different types of Valentine's Day gift baskets, ranging from chocolate-themed ones (my favorite) to ones with cheeses and caviar. Make sure you pick the one that best reflects your sweetheart and enjoy it together.

Sexy Valentine's Day Gifts

With the right Valentine's Day gift basket, you can give your honey a Valentine that's sweet, sexy and romantic.

If your singificant other is a chocoholic like me, why not give her a dozen chocolate roses in addition to some real ones. You can mix the candy flowers in with the actual roses for a sexy and sumptuous bouquet.

The breakfast in bed gift basket is another great Valentine's Day present because you can kick off your holiday with some romance -- and what better way to treat your loved one than with a nice breakfast in bed? The basket has everything you need for the perfect meal, from jam to ham.

But if you really want to have a sexy and romantic Valentine's Day, give the Too Hot To Handle Risque Basket. This comes with an adorable stuffed animal and chocolate candies. However, there are also massage oils, spreadable chocolate body frosting ... and even some Valentine's Day games. Prrrrrr.....

Gourmet Chocolate Valentine's Day Gift Baskets

If there ever were a perfect holiday for giving chocolate, it's Valentine's Day. Giving your loved one chocolate is almost expected!

If your sweetie has a serious sweet tooth, you can go for a sugar overload with the Sweets For My Sweet gift basket, which has everything from M&Ms to Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Personally, this is a bit much for me, but it would make a great gift in conjunction with movie tickets. It even works as a present for kids.

The Chocoholics Survival Kit is more my speed with every type of gourmet chocolate imaginable, plus brownies. Mmmmmm..... brownies....

You can also skip giving candy altogether and give a Classic Cookie basket. And yes, it has TWO kinds of chocolate chip cookies. Perfect!

Low Fat Valentine's Day Gift Baskets

Just because you or your loved one is dieting or trying to eat healthy doesn't mean that you can't indulge a little on Valentine's Day! These Valentine's Day gift baskets make it easy to enjoy yourself while still eating well.

The Chocolate Fondue for Two basket has enough chocolate to keep things sweet and then plenty of fruit to have with it. Imagine fresh fruit dipped in a little dark chocolate - Yum! Plus, it's romantic to share fondue and feed it to each other. Meanwhile, the Fruitful Affair (love the name) basket comes with sparkling fruit juice to accompany the goodies inside.

There's also the gift basket filled with 100-calorie snack packs. These aren't my favorite, but I do know many people who enjoy them and it is packaged very nicely. I'd much rather have the fruit, though.

This way, you're getting something fresh ... and there's something sexy about biting into an apple. Think Adam and Eve...

Luxurious Gift Baskets

If your significant other always has to have the finest wine and loves to eat in the best restaurants, then a gourmet gift basket is just the thing to get him or her for Valentine's Day.

My Gourmet Valentine has everything you need for the foodie in your live including caviar!

Meanwhile, the romantic cheeses basket has a variety of them, as well as fruit and crackers so you can indulge.  There's even chocolate cheese. Seriously!

The wine lovers basket has a seriously decadent-sounding merlot-infused cheese, as well as other goodies meant to accompany wine.

But whichever of these baskets you choose, you're sure to have a memorable Valentine's Day.
