Good day to one and all ; about time for another 'Come Sit By Me'hub so here we are!!

As I have shared with many of you my friends in the past week I met up with some very special people in my life.

People who were with me through an abusive childhood

I am at a point in my life now where I do not question how I have coped with different aspects in my life and there are three very important words connected with my journey ;these being accept,expect and appreciate.

I simple accept what has happened ;expect there to be rainy days now and again but most importantly I appreciate all that I have been given .

The beauty in this world ,my family , last but not least my wonderful friends from days gone by and also for all of you wonderful friends on here who have come to mean so much.

Today's poems are hopefully messages of survival and of making the most of that coping mechanism which resides in us all.Many of you also know that I have become addicted to editing my photos and I use Photomania ;so easy and so satisfying !!!

My song today 'To Believe' by young Jackie Evancho such a sweet little gem shining brightly in today's world.

Right does everyone have their drinks and biscuits ???Ok so I shall begin !!

I hope you enjoy.

From deep in my heart

Great beauty blossoms.

Each wondrous avenue

Paths lined with soft wonders of life

Laden with such precious treasures galore

New loves tinged with that brand new dawn

The crossroads of each life

Just take my hand

A New Day's Dawning : Haiku.

A new day's dawning

Red skies fill my heart with joy

Believing in dreams.

Each foundation

Yearnings to be fulfilled

Pot of gold at each rainbow's end

Share your journeys ; your blessed tomorrows

Tasting nectar's sweet joys

Nature awaits

Today I believe

Such sweet dreams are a-leading

True self assurance.

Tomorrows so true

Each eager heart doth await

Fresh knowledge so clear.

Caress each new birth

Dreams become reality

My knowledge my truths.

Today;Tomorrow : Acrostic.

Oh how my heart sings

Dreams tinged with reality

A haven of true love

Yesterdays lessons learnt

Oh how I await

Mesmerising spirits lead the way

Onwards and upwards

Reality now apparent

Relish in nature's beauty

Oh how my heart rejoices

Wondrous instincts sparkle.

Live your life

Know your way;

Each wondrous ascent

A brand new day.

Life's deepest love

Safe in my heart;

To cherish to treasure

Never to part.

Willing and true

That first sweet kiss;

Great new beliefs

In eternal bliss.

A future so great

self belief awaited

now treasured and caressed

the instinct of survival

an ability of coping.

Discard bleak memories

that stagnant stench

such relief

wondrous highways

our future

our legacy

our all!!

Curious bystanders

imaginations swelling

a false representation

to magnify

to fantasise

so false !!!

True ways of living

the truth to live on;

a legacy so right

lessons to be learnt

messages to share.

My angels my guardians

you've shown the way

your brightness my light

to show me the way.

My whole being renders

my glorious tomorrows

yesterday's lessons

soften the way.

From my mountain peak

I thrive

and blossom;

to share

to love

to care

to believe

to have faith.

My heart tells all

tune into your being

your soul eternal

your tomorrows do gleam.

To sit back

in deep

to look back at life

and know your truth.

Follow your path

as I have done

and each bleak day

in the morning sun.

I carve emotion

from a worth so true

and hold my hand

as I share with you.........................................

Let yesterday go

Today's lessons to be learnt

Tomorrow blossoms.

Before I lay me down

before I say a prayer

through wars

see a peace

each Sparrow shares each wonder

flying over life's rainbow!!

Believe in your days

believe in your honour

relinquish that faith so clear!!

Let starvation

war disperse

allow blue skies to spread

through each

stormy horizon!!

Allow us to try

allow us the gift to believe;

tears of sorrow

become dew drops of angels;

bleak days wiped away by

hope not despair;

soothe hearts that grieve

fulfill hunger ,

starvation and troubled lives.

In their place

wondrous moments

smiling faces

all fighting ceases;

finally each cry to be heard

each prayer to be answered.

A world of sweet fulfillment.

Hear those prayers

feed those souls.

To believe in

the todays

the tomorows

of our lives.

      Beautiful poem, and the paintings speak words, the last time I saw such kind of "emotional paintings" was from Vincent Van Gogh's.

      Eddy, your poetry and pictures are always so beautiful. Out of curiosity, how far are you from Dowlais? I couldn't remember the town I visited all those years ago, but I was looking through pictures the other day that had the name on the back.

      Eddy, yesterday's lessons learned propel us forward to see beauty in all there is to see and experience. I love the strength of these poems. Your song choice is perfect. I heard this last night for the first time and was so very moved by the words Jackie's uncle wrote. Her voice is bigger than life - as is your love and strength, my friend.

      Enjoy your day, Eddy!
