Holding On To Tomorrow~lifesparadox

Thoughts are unstoppable

Burning through to my soul

Like a torch in the forest

Heart on fire blazing with rage

Effusive feelings become numb

Playing tug of war with nerves as I rest

Yearn to ask the unthinkable

But not for there is no answer

Crying torrents from veins uncured

Strengthen the tenderness

Of my unopened grasp

Possibility of slipping unsure

Perhaps I may fail the challenge

Consisting of unknown paths

Fear nothing now I implore

Looking up from this shadow

It lays grounded on black

Slashing through to the chain of my core

Seeking density though darkness

Breathe in the rigid fog

Joining my forgiveness of sorrow

Unleashed scream of mercy

Veiled gratitude I impart

Holding only on to my tomorrow
