I hope this forum thread get deleted, moved etc. It has apparently been 'spammed' too heavily.

Therapy is never easy. Especially when you do it in public.

I respectfully asked for valuable, creative feedback on my unfinished work. Well, what did I get back? Thanks.

      Goats - you got goats....

But no one has added a meme yet for added effects...

You got fantastic, useful, worthwhile creative advice! You even got a story. What more do you want? Goat's cheese?

I mostly got 'spammy' elements on this forum thread. Anyway, thanks to all.

First off, it wasn't really necessary to bring up HubPages and its creator, as an allusion to my story. It was purely uncessary from the part of Will Apse, someone who is apparently quite fastidious about what should be posted on a forum thread, and what not.

    Will Apse, a while ago.

"A woman speaks out of turn and gets her brains blown out. The guy is delighted that there is 'one less'. Hmm.

You are lucky the mods here focus on name calling and lack the judgement to recognize genuinely offensive material.

This might be one for twitter."

Aw... bless your weary heart. You think shooting women is the answer?

Don't think anyone could get more offensive than that.

      Well done.

Yes I saw that meme. Truly offensive.  Have reported it.

Apparently there's one going round featuring you and a goat.

Memes are memes. They are designed to be disturbing. An 'un-disturbing' meme is not a meme at all. As far as I know, HubPages allows memes to be posted. I had posted that meme because Imgflip's TOS is very similar to HubPages TOS. I have an account on Imgflip (DasEngel), and once I submit a new meme on that website, it takes quite a while before it gets checked and gets featured. They have quality.

As I have faced objections, I'll not post those 'violent' memes on here. Game over.

It is not a question of what is allowed or not.

It is the mindset of someone who would post that.

THAT is the problem.  The fact you don't get it says all I need to know.

      1. DasEngel profile image60
DasEngelposted 8 years agoin reply to this

How about the mindset of those who do not want to listen, and do not want to answer?

Bit pathetic really.  If the best fun you can get on the net is in the HubPages forum - man you must be pretty desperate.

    Flash fiction...

Once upon a time there were three little internet goat users that wanted to get to some valuable information that was situated beyond the forum. So the first little goat user went to cross the forum but as they did a lowly troll leaped from the forum and threatened to eat them. The user just ignored the troll and wandered on past without a care in the world.. Then so did the second and then the third... Eventually after a lot of meme-ing the troll vanished in a puff of hair pulling and name calling... and everyone lived happily ever after and forgot the troll had even existed after about 30 seconds...

    1. DasEngel profile image60
DasEngelposted 8 years agoin reply to this

Do create a separate thread for all your goat stories. Thanks.

Let's not. This is the perfect place.

Still naked, cold and locked out, Dash became aware of a low vibration coupled with a chorus of angels. It sounded like... sounded like...

        "Argh! Goats!"

    It is the perfect place.

There were at least three goats.  They all took turns to post.  It was easy if you logged in with different browsers but difficult to disguise the natural tics.  Even with logins like Goat1, Goat2 and Goat3 - people started to spot them a mile off.

"Why would that conversation be happening?" smart people would think.  They stopped feeding the goat(s).

    tbc...

  10. DasEngel profile image60

    I do see the goat.

    Here's the full story.

A person has invested a lot of money on a website. But it's not running well. He is angry and frustrated. He used Alpha Peak to calm his anger. He fired a lot of good employees for no good reason.

He goes to the local library to search for some solution. While returning home, he feels very tired, and rests at a nearby park. From the verawood bench, a gets to see a spider. The spider was struggling to move up to a tree branch, but failing. The protagonist remembered a little story of a king, and how the king was re-inspired by watching a spider etc.

He decides to get closer to the spider, to observe the spider's monumental wisdom. The spider bites him instead, and he becomes Spider-Man.

He sells his website and becomes a freelance photographer.

I suggest painting this story as a mural or rendering it as a life-sized wood carving to be unveiled next year on the occasion of your five-year HP anniversary.   Remember, troll smarter not harder.

Hmmm.... I have two accounts too. Us Squidoo-ers were obliged to open a second account. Like Paradigm Search, my other one is simply a name variation. Not all of us are trying to hide something.

Every time I drop hints about his previous banned account identities he accuses me of being paradigmsearch in disguise.   You would think after being banned from HP several years ago he would move on, but I guess this is like his drug.

"As far as you know", eh? Well, you must be right if they "just happen" to seem similar.

Actually, there is only one other person on HP besides yourself... and I/we are all of them.

Are you a teenager confined to your room, by any chance?

Perhaps we shouldn't be too hard on DE. I've learnt a lot from his activities.

I've certainly learnt a lot about American attitudes to gun violence. And violence against women.

In that regard, I'm more shocked by the moderators. The troll is only doing what trolls do.

Perhaps it is cultural thing. Violence in the US is well beyond anything anyone from Europe has to endure. (and violence makes people indifferent).

And, of course, anyone from the UK will have spotted DE as a troll as soon as he made his first post. Nothing he says rings true. Very few Americans are tuned into that kind of thing and prefer to take stuff at face value.

Except I don't know why you're connecting me to a meme I didn't post or comment on and that came from someone you mistakenly identified as American.

          1. Will Apse profile image88
Will Apseposted 8 years agoin reply to this

The plumes of blood thing was not an allusion to you, Nate. I know you did not post it.

Anyway, I am planning on seeing out that other thread and then disappearing. I will only post here when I absolutely have to for the sake of my account.

People might think I am kidding but I am genuinely nauseated by DE's image. I don't want to take part in a forum where someone can post that kind of stuff. To me it is just as bad as the worst kind of porn.

Ultimately, it is a cultural thing. I simply cannot respect a culture that can accept that kind of vileness.

I doubt if I'm the only person that has made this decision.

My contempt for the mods is profound.
