yes lots of people do..just look on the top hubbers list. lots of people there make lots of money. I don't make any money on hubpages tho
I am not a full time blogger or Hubber but still manage to make money more than what is need for a standard living. This income is apart from what I earn from my regular job. All you need is patience, focus and little hard work.
Some people. You mean just with Hubs? The people that have a chance are those with:
1) LOTS of Hubs (100 absolute minimum, many more better).
2) Hubs are commercial (product or money making related).
3) Hubs have many links from outside HubPages.
See my profile and look for the Courtney link for more details.
Yes, I am a full-time writer and making about double what I could in any "real job" that I quality for in this area. That said, Hubpages is far from my only income and, in fact, is still relatively minor. Most of my income comes from freelancing jobs, I have several repeat clients and pick up small one-time jobs to fill in the gaps, and affiliate sites are my plan for recurring income...I try to write at least a couple articles a day that I keep the rights to, and slowly it's building up an income that is becoming more and more automatic.

Fine, the forum has lots of people that claims they make thousands of dollars every month. I doubt 98% of them. From my experience, I may want to believe Ryankett because I've seen most of his backlinking works on various sites. If you make that much every month, voice it out and help breath...

I just read a Hub that said that the author was going to go to the freelance website and pay people to write articles for him that he would put on HubPages to make himself money from. That can't be okay with the HubPages site, is it? A couple of people commented, including an author that I have...

Just curious. I did meet someone who used to make a living writing on Squidoo before they made some changes. I know some people on Bubblews who live in some "third world" countries that make enough on there to survive as well. It seems reasonable to me that there are at least a few...

This one is going to be fun! What I've observed on the forums is that there are a few, kind of unwritten cliques of hubbers who consider themselves 'experts' in almost everything and kind of try to 'educate' newcomers as if one must submit before them because these veteran hubbers have won Nobel...

I assume we all love to write, but what with the Google 'adjustments,' it seems there's an implied mass exodus. Or perhaps all the grumbling going on is simply the yearly cycle of discontent. Folks crave the attention at times. Hell, so do I.This isn't exactly a rant, although I...

It seems hard to see that anyone actually makes any money here. Can someone provide me a hub that I can look up on the internet outside of hubpages & see it? Before I commit any more time to this, I want to know if it will be worth my while. Thanks.
