Airmail to the Moon about a little girl in the backwoods somewhere. She's had a baby tooth come and loses it and is searching her house, and her neighborhood for the tooth. Fun story to read to kids.
And Jillian Jiggs

I was obsessed with The Babysitter's Club's Kid Sister series. As I got a little older I also devoured as many Nancy Drew's as I could.
I read Dr. Sues (I think It's spell) like the Cat in the Hat and so to my nice when she was a child. I never had any of my own so I read to her.
OMG Like there is only one??? !
I love reading books to children. One of my all time favorites that I read to my (now grown) daughters was called The Maggie B -- the adventure of a young girl and her baby brother who take the Maggie B out to sea and spend a delightful day on the ocean.
It's all picture book with lots of delicious words and yummy pictures.
