Favourite book of all time?
Mine would have to be Germinal by Zola.
this answer changes for me all the time, but my consistent option is Catcher in the Rye. What;s yours?
I'd have to say my favorite book right now is "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver. Also "To Kill A Mockingbird".
Actually many books, it is hard to define which is best. I but I like the book To Kill the Mockingbird.
I have so any. The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Giovanni's Room. I can't choose just one.
Not 100% positive, but I'm thinking Ursula K. Le Guin's A Wizard of Earthsea.
I'm sure some of the reason is nostalgia (I discovered it in my early teens), but whenever I come across a mention of it I feel compelled to give it another read.
To Kill A Mockingbird is excellent. Oh I love The Catcher in the Rye too, it comes in close second to Germinal. Also, If On a Winter's Night a Traveller is a fascinating read.

What book did you read as a child that you might reread as an adult?I'm looking lately to supplement my reading with some childhood favorites -- mostly for nostalgia, but who knows where it'll lead.
