For my money: Both. I write both Fiction and nonfiction, and depending on where I promote my work, I actually see earnings from my writing.
There is no reason why you should write both, although if you have a preference, then you should think about it first!
There are places and websites where you can write fictions and nonfiction and get paid!

Mostly Fiction ^_^ and some nonfiction depends on what the topic is = ]
gotta have both. It's really more an issue of how good the author is, isn't it?
I'm a fan of fiction and enjoy writing it more than nonfiction. I love the endless possibilities that fiction provides.
Nonfiction anyday! Lol )
I wud rather borrow a novel from the library for a one time read than buy it to collect dust for several years on the glass shelf!
Nonfiction because its a lovely way to keep the mind active while browisng through stuff like encyclopedias and other gr8 stuff!
