   What is the most inspirational thing you've heard this holiday season?
   
   Have you ever heard something that made you stop and think?  I often hear a quote, saying, or song lyrics, that really make an impact emotionally, or puts everything into perspective-even for a moment.  The most recent quote i've heard is this one by Anne Frank, that made me say "It's never too late, and no good deed is ever too small"-and I read it every day!
   "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world"  What inspired you the most?

   I like questions like these. They don't get asked that often. Thanks for this.
   
   Okay, coz i keep a journal so every now and then, i write inspirational quotes whenever I stumble upon them.
   
   But this holiday season, the one closest to my heart was:
   
   "I ask you to save me from my past, my regrets, my mistakes, my sins, my habits, my hurts and my hang-ups. Save me from my self."
   
   I mean, for me, it is acknowledging oneself as being helpless. We can't even trust ourselves. We are too damaged, too devastated to rely on ourselves.  We need a higher being to compensate for us.
   
   If that makes sense to you. But i do get teary eyed with this quote.

   "You are all cut from the same cloth and bound with the same thread -- so, stand together and give each other love and support." One of the last things my Mother said to her six surviving children. She also said, "I will be going home to be with your eldest Brother and Father."
