I was surprise to have found this book as one of the required books for a class I took in college called, "Writing the Novel." A paradox at first glance due to the fact that it was written by one of the most contemporary prolific writers of this past generation, Stephen King's "On Writing" should not be overlooked due to the author's obvious popularity. From time to time, I'll leaf through its pages to remind me of some of the many important lessons a book on writing: And that is to read! Read everything you can get your sticky greedy hands on! I recommend this book to all aspiring writers in any and all genres. Get a copy and enjoy!
They Say, I Say is a great book for some writing tips. I've actually written a hub on it. It was assigned for me in school and helped improve my writing significantly.
