If you could go back in time and meet a historical person, who would it be and why?
Mother Theresa, she was such an inspirational person, and did things for the poor no-one else had ever done before and was an obviously devout person, but on second thoughts I'd really like to meet Jesus, but I'd be proud and honoured to be in the company of both.
Good, interesting question
I would like to meet John Fitzgerald Kennedy. to think of how he could have changed our country. what an experience to sit down with him and pick his mind.
Well if I could do this, I wouldn 't look for a historical person.
I would me myself.
There is nothing that could teach you more from the past, than your own experiences through time.
Jackie Kennedy I would want to know how she gained her grace. She always was so perfect with her dress, hair, and personality.
There's so many to chose from. I'd love to meet Jesus, I'd love to have a conversation with him, and find out more about the real man. Also, I'd love to meet the likes of Homer, Plato and Aristotle, the thought of being in the company of such intelligent and clever people is awesome.
I would love for a chance to meet JRR Tolkien, writer of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. His writing is a great influence to me and would love a chance to have a conversation with him.
I would like to meet Adolf Hitler ..so i would be able to ask him personally why he had that Gas Chamber. I want to see personally how he communicate s , how he reasons , how he analyzes things and want to see his being a human being.
I would like to meet any one of the two of my choice and they are Lord Krishna of India or Jesus of Nazareth. Because both of them spoke the truth and only the truth.
I truly appreciate you answering in such a heartfelt manner Vegas Elias and am gratified but Lord Krishna was not a historical person for there are no factual evidences whereas with Jesus, he was certainly fictional because AD BC are based on him!
It would be interesting to meet Nikola Tesla. He was an extremely intelligent and gifted inventor and it would have been amazing to watch him work. Even Mark Twain enjoyed his company and would visit him in his laboratory. Come to think of it I would love to meet Mark Twain as well.
Albert Einstein is my hero! He was one of those that would stay out in the rain, because his thoughts were so magnificient, such palrty things didn't concern him.
I knew you would come with some brainy person! Let us hope that someday, on the other side of life, we get to meet the person that inspires us too!

Why are introverts perceived to be less intelligent, even stupid by our American extrovertedculture & society?

Do smart people scare you?Do you think "average" people are frightened by "intelligent" people. I don't consider myself that intelligent, but apparently come across that way and it seems to put some people off.

Why is it so hard for good people to have/find relationships with quality/good people? There is the internet, stir events-match.com, eharmony, sporting events, botanical garden evening events, plays, art work, parades, happy-hour, etc. It seems that good quality people have a difficult time...
