      do not recall...
      images
      witnessed
      by ancestors.

      drop and then again yield..
      who would recall..

      any images
      while their own rise and fall.

        the twelve words at the top were so poignant, they begged to be followed.

        beautiful images that words can paint. I read about word painting a few years ago, and this reminded me of it.

    Thank you to everyone who has joined in here and left poetry and comments.

    The responses are especially pleasing as I had almost hidden away my love of creative writing and it is good to be able to share words with other people who feel the same about words.
