   What motivates you to keep writing and be a good writer?

   I am either a good writer or not, I don't know but  a mental pleasure and satisfaction I get by writing and a feeling of being writer motivate me to keep writing. Beside it a expectation of earning money by it also motivate me to write.

   For me, writing is just a part of me. I am always coming up with ideas and jotting things down. Don't get me wrong, I have had writers block. When that happens I just put it aside and do something else and then I go back and usually the block is gone. If you love to write it's just something you do. Of course, money is also a great motivator...lol

   I agree with tjdavis, writing is just a part of me. I've been writing stuff since I was 8 years old and, no matter what, I have to write something. Also, because of my experiences in life, writing has always been an escape for me and a great learning experience. Money is, of course, a great motivator. Writers Block, believe it or not, is a great motivator for me as well because if i'm stumped on one idea, I have other ideas I can begin working on. Writing is just like finding your place in the world: you become passionate about it and you love doing/being a part of it. If you get pissed when someone writes something wrong, then you know you have to be a writer. If you wake up in the morning and a story idea hits you, you are a writer. If you are on Hubpages, then you are a writer.
