    At one time I had a six or eight magazines a week habit. What's that a year? My maths is lousy! I've weaned myself off them now by using the internet more, and indeed reading hubs. Now I have three subscriptions, so it's three mags a month...36 a year. I managed that sum. If I do buy the odd extra, I often feel conned by the cover headlines being misleading, so try to stick to my trusted three.

    I have a subscription to the New Yorker.
    If that counts, I get one usually every week.

      Yes it counts that is a top-notch magazines.  I look it up and the percentage of subscribers who renew The New Yorker each year is 85%.

      Cool, outside of that I think I've purchased two magazines this whole year, one The Atlantic and one National Geographic.

      National Geographic is one of my favorites although I have bought one in a while.

    Usually, I scan at the magazine stand. If I like the content and want to read further in detail, I buy the magazine. It can be two at a time or even three. I buy another ones, only after I  finish reading them. I have never counted it, but roughly it can go up to more than 30  a year.
