Do you try to read the book first before watching the movie adaptation?
Even if it's a trilogy, like The Hunger Games or Lord of the Rings?
I always like to read the book first, it gives more depth to the movie for me
Yes, most definitely, read the book first. The book has so much more than a movie can incorporate in their small time frame.
Always. Depth of story is integral to ones enjoyment of the movie and explains sections the movie cannot cover.
Yes. I always have and like to analyze the movie based off of the book.
Most of the time. It depends on the subject matter. If its a book that I'm not that interested in, I won't read it. I'll just watch the movie and hope for the best. If I liked the movie then maybe I'll read the book after.
