I never believe that being a heartbreaker is a good thing. Being heartbroken causes a great deal of pain and torment for the victim and, while I never want to be heartbroken again, I never want to be the cause of someone else's heartbreak either.
Each feeling changes over time. From the standpoint of being in a relationship or where both are aware of the others feelings, being heartbroken can seem worse at the outset. But over time those feelings fade and are replaced with regret, or something like it.
