Do we have the inalienable right to express our feelings about injustices taking place in society?

Though we may try to be honorable and respectful, at times, is it not right for us to express our anger about some social injustices?

I think so.  This is suppose to be government by the people.  So, when we see, witness or are involved in an injustice it is our duty and responsibililty to speak up against it.  Can we express anger?  Yes, sometimes it is appropriate to express anger and social or government injustices are those instances.  There are times when it is appropriate to express anger and an injustice is the time to do so.

Anger, like any other emotion, should be recognized and expressed. You can be angry and also respectful of others. Just remember that everyone has different reactions to different things and the only person you can control is you.
Use your anger to fuel a positive action or reaction. If you see a social injustice and it makes you angry try to find a way to fix it. Ignoring problems doesn't help anyone! If you can't fix it yourself then your next step is to inform. Tell everyone you know about this problem! The spread of information can be just as effective at quelling an injustice than any other fix.

I agree with what you say, misstaylor, we should be in control of what we are trying to express.

Here in the U.S. we certainly do.

I think everyone should have the right to speak up for themselves and for others and against injustices – in a loving, non-combative way, of course.

Some people may misconstrue the statement, and your question, and think that as long as they view something as right in their own eyes, then they should assert it.

As a Christian and a follower of the Bible, I use that as my standard. So whatever is contrary to the word of God, I don't stand for.
