Does anyone have suggestions for rewriting a work of fiction?
I've completed and published here on HubPages my first piece of fiction. It is a 26,000 word story. I am now trying to rewrite it. Should I try to add to it, take away, same length, develop characters? The first time through was a blast. This is more like work.
You might talk to mckbrdbks. He has helped many get theirs e-published. He has also helped get some paper books published. He has a little business here. Your story is good and I think that you need to do a little editing as far as formatting and correct punctuation. I did not realize it was that many words. That is already full book length.
Thanks Becky. mckbrdbks and I have commented on our blogs before, but haven't discussed my story. I don't suppose there are secrets to rewriting. I'll just focus on one Part at a time. How is your story coming along? I've read through Part three
I am working on part 4. A lot of research in this story.
