The Black Jewell Trilogy by Anne Bishop is excellent. I would highly recommend it. It's about the lighter side of evil, and how they operate in unity of good, but the dark side of evil tries to disrupt that force, and the Witch that will put the world in balance again. It's a truly amazing story, and all centered around an extraordinary little girl, and the monsters which surround her.
That sounds like something I would enjoy! Thanks for the advice, I'll look into it! :-)
that sounds like an interesting concept....might give it a try, thanks xo (always on the look out for a good read) :-)
What about the Wheel of Time series? It has a lot of books and is of the fantasy genre. It's about a trio of boys who become important in fate and destiny, about evil breaking into the world and more. I'm still not done but I am hooked.
Follett has the second in a new triolgy out. Fall of the Giants is the first book. Great characters, historical significance.
Game of Thrones... I'm on book 2 myself... I watched the tv show first, but now I like reading the books and I hope to be caught up by the next season
Have you read Philip Pullman's His Dark Material trilogy? "The Golden Compass" is the first book, (or called "The Northern Light" in some countries); it was made into a movie which didn't really do it justice. You will not want to put it down till you finish all three!!! Also, there is a great audio book version with full dramatic cast. I got it out from the library for free. Loved it.
Happy Reading xoxo

I am increasingly dropping an email to authors whose books either end on a hook or which, with a view to getting their readers to buy their next book, leave half the threads in the story unfinished. This does not make...
