What do you do to maintain your writing stamina?
Okay, what gives the motivation to keep writing?
To maintain your writing stamina you have to be consistent in writing. You basically have to write often and then you will automatically build your writing stamina.
If you think of your mind as a muscle and your writing an exercise then to keep it strong and healthy you have to work it each and every day, little by little until it builds up inner stamina. But you can't rest it for long or else it'll become flabby. Better to challenge it every few days with some extra work.
Don't forget to feed it by reading, re-reading and correcting. Balance reading and writing - learn to work out at low level (subconsciously) by reading books in your spare time.
My first answer: Children are expensive, and writing subsidizes their needs.
My more considered answer: I'm not empty yet. I have half a century to unload before I die. Give me time and my laptop, and I'm gone for hours. Just ask my wife. I'm there, but I'm not there. I believe I have a physical need to write. It borders on addiction. If I'm not creating, I'm not living. In short, life (and to some extent my bank account) keeps me motivated.
Just to get some good earnings and improve our skill also delivers the best material to others.
Writing is a big part of some people's lives, while others may choose to write for money some will write for pleasure. It is not the same for everyone. Reading helps tremendously before you decide to put pen to paper.
By all means write and plan your writing. But also take breaks from writing. Go to bed to rest your brain and your body. Remember to take food and water and look after your health. These simple techniques practiced daily and woven into your day to day routine will also help you write.
Stay well friend and good luck with your future writing. From safiq.
