What is your favorite Reading Time Snack?

Do you prefer nibbling at something while reading? Or Coffee may be? What's the favorite reading time snack? Do you find reading experience incomplete without this snack? Why do you think, is this snack so important for your reading activity?
Or is it that you're so engrossed in the book, that you can't manage to focus on something else?

I like nuts, mainly ground nuts.I can manage without this. But having something to drink and much is a good experience while reading.

If I am reading during the day I like to have a cup of coffee or tea. If I am reading in the evening I like to have a glass of wine.

Hot tea with two spoonfulls of sugar. It helps soothe me, detach from the world, and really enjoy the written words.

Hmmm. I don't drink tea, but for someone who likes the aroma, I can imagine the delightful break from the surroundings when accompanied with a good book smile So what flavours your tea better, fiction or non-fiction?

A freshly brewed cup of coffee.  Sometimes I spice it up a bit and make homemade pumpkin flavoring for it out of pumpkin pie spice.  That way I can sit back, relax, read, and have a fragrant drink to sip on to help me relax.

I love to make a cup of tea and settle down with a good book. I love baking, so I usually snack on my most recent creation - today was banana peanut butter streusel muffins. It's not a necessity for me, but it helps me to relax and enjoy whatever I'm reading.

That's fantastic. Enjoy someone else's creation (book) while munching on your own is an absolutely amazing way to double the joy of both. smile

I always have a glass of iced tea at hand - summer or winter. Usually, I don't eat snacks between meals, but when the craving hits, I like the barbecue flavored Pringles potato chips. The hard part is trying to munch on them without getting fingerprints all over my book.

Hahaha. Now that's a practical problem. smile I also face it. There's a small box of damp sponge that people use while counting currency - they use it so that notes don't stick to their fingers. May be we could use one, to wipe off after each bite smile

A cup of hot Coffee, Green Tea or  just Tea is good for me. I do not like to eat while reading.
