Could you please explain the one thing that draws readers to a hub?
Your asking for one thing but your going to get about 137 different answers. Everyone is different and are attracted to hubs for different reasons. Personally if the title is not appealing, more than likely I won't read it.

That would be GOOGLE.
That one thing is very simple "The title!" Once the title is appealling, you'll see readers rushing!
