How to fix a hub marked as duplicate?
If you get a duplicate alert message on your hub, how do you fix it? I just got one for my first book review I pubbed yesterday and have revised it from my book blog review, so it wouldn't have the duplicate alert. I also have deleted the book cover as well.
Plug your hub URL into Copyscape.com, and it will tell you which pages have duplicate content. From there, you can either file a DMCA complaint against sites that have duplicated your content, or revise your content that is too similar to that on another site.
In general, you shouldn't have a review of the same book in two places, unless what you write about the book is substantially different on each site. If you're just rewriting your original book review, you're actually paraphrasing yourself, which may be triggering the duplicate content filter.
Deleting the book cover didn't help you, since duplication checks text.
