What is your favorite Poet? Is it a modern spoken word artist or it a classic like Robert Frost?
Though Robert Frost is among my favorite poets, Rudyard Kipling remains my all time favored writer. His work "If" is my choice as the best work ever. Thanks for sharing. whonu
Although I am not totally familiar with all of his works, my all-time favorite poem is "Sea Fever" by John Masefield.
Robert Frost's "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" is another favorite.
Robert Service's poems, though somewhat on the dark side, have a comic edge to them, and are fun.
And for sheer grins and giggles, it has to be Ogden Nash.
When all is said and done, it is difficult if not impossible for me to choose a single favorite. ;-)
I enjoy William Wordsworth.
I like the rhythm and rhyme in his poems. I have always like
Daffodils. I can see exactly what he is describing in the poem and I love poetry that paints pictures.

Who is your favorite artist and why?I love Piet Mondrian. I like the clean lines and blocks of color in his later works. His style appeals to my organized nature. I could never look at a Jackson Pollack all day.
