Finding a niche
I've been trying to round my writing down into a specific niche to keep me on track with my writing, but the problem is that I either go way to broad or the exact opposite and it's so specific that I could only write one or 2 things and that would be it. Does anyone have any ideas or tips to help me out?
Why do you feel you need to 'find your niche?' Write about anything that appeals to you to write about - at least for a while longer. You will probably find that you'll come around to writing about your greatest interest or interests eventually. In the meantime, don't let the creative urge fade by not writing. Oh, yes, and write a little (or a lot) every day. At least until it become a habit.
If you're thinking about finding a niche where you can become a professional paid writer I have no advice to give. I've never earned a penny from writing though I've been at it for 50 years. But if you write because you feel impelled to, it's an innate urge and wants to 'out,' then write about...to reiterate...anything that appeals to you at the time.

In fact, if you were writing about issue relating to money or health, unless you had some authority your articles would be graded...

Writing has always been my way of talking when no-one is listening so finding HubPages is as good as picking up the phone and knowing there is someone on the other end of the line.My problem is that I have so much to write about I don't know what my niche is or if I even want one. What do you think...
