    Hello there!

I am so new to HubPages, and will be adding my fifth article today.  I am trying to understand how HubPages works in regards to LetterPile as three of my articles (Creative Writing) have been moved to LetterPile.

Is this a good thing?  Why?

    Thank you.
    H.R.

Letterpile is one of the niche sites. It's where most creative writing (poetry, short stories, essays, etc.) goes if it's deemed worthy of leaving Hubpages.com and Discover.com. You have the potential to earn more once your work makes it to a niche site. So, yes, it's a good thing!

Shauna, I have 11 or12 articles that have been moved to LetterPile but I think, I am having very fewer and some days 0 views on those articles and most of my views are coming from HubPages and discover.

Give it time, Misbah. I haven't posted anything new in a while, but my articles are still earning. Views are always up and down. Variables such as time of year, weekends, algorithm updates, etc. come into play, which affects traffic. You can always edit your articles if you feel they are stagnating. From time to time the niche site editors will take another look at your articles and notify you whether they still look good or they've made some changes in order to keep them prime for whichever site(s) they're on.

This isn't a big money-making site, but with perseverance, patience, and ensuring you put forth quality material, you can earn enough to pay the water bill or treat yourself to dinner out.
