Hello there!
I am so new to HubPages, and will be adding my fifth article today. I am trying to understand how HubPages works in regards to LetterPile as three of my articles (Creative Writing) have been moved to LetterPile.
Is this a good thing? Why?
Thank you.
H.R.
Letterpile is one of the niche sites. It's where most creative writing (poetry, short stories, essays, etc.) goes if it's deemed worthy of leaving Hubpages.com and Discover.com. You have the potential to earn more once your work makes it to a niche site. So, yes, it's a good thing!
Shauna, I have 11 or12 articles that have been moved to LetterPile but I think, I am having very fewer and some days 0 views on those articles and most of my views are coming from HubPages and discover.
don't know
Give it time, Misbah. I haven't posted anything new in a while, but my articles are still earning. Views are always up and down. Variables such as time of year, weekends, algorithm updates, etc. come into play, which affects traffic. You can always edit your articles if you feel they are stagnating. From time to time the niche site editors will take another look at your articles and notify you whether they still look good or they've made some changes in order to keep them prime for whichever site(s) they're on.
This isn't a big money-making site, but with perseverance, patience, and ensuring you put forth quality material, you can earn enough to pay the water bill or treat yourself to dinner out.
Shauna yes they have always said it looks good,
I have posted a forum discussion regarding traffic rise and fall and about updating the article. let's see if I get noticed there.

What happens to an article that goes to LetterPile? Is it a good sign or a bad sign? I have not been on here in a long time and just got back on a few days ago. I had never heard of LetterPile until just recently.

Heads up! We’re doing a bit of rearranging on the LetterPile Network Site and we wanted to let authors know what’s going on.Going forward, we are transitioning LetterPile into a site that will exclusively contain creative writing. Until now we’ve tried to make the site a home for both informative...

This last year I improved my hubs and had 112 featured of 130 articles: Now suddenly they bust me down to only 30 featured hubs. I feel this contributes to a websites decline. I made a comment on a survey that I don't get any payout for this site and gave my opinion, and now...

What is LetterPile?I received an email telling me that some of my hubs moved to the vertical website called LetterPile and I can't find any other information about what this website is or why. Can someone give me some insight?

The niche sites have been a great idea for HP. Combined with the new EBDA (Exchange Bidding), many hubbers are seeing an increase in HP income. This is awesome to see. I believe this alone will inspire more hubs of higher quality. My concern is for LetterPile. I have a lot of stories and articles...
