Innocence is fragile. I wish no one ever lose it but so sad we all have to lose it one day and then life takes a new turn and meets you with a horrible face which you never have wished to see.
~~~Misbah~~~
I totally agree with you sentiments, Misbah. Innocence needs to be embraced because, unfortunately, it doesn’t last long enough.
Yes, it’s very sad when the problems of life appear. The innocence of childhood is lovely while it lasts (as long as the child is protected), but as you say, eventually life takes a new turn. The picture that you found is lovely, Misbah.
Hopefully, the child has good parents who guide her and help her not be disappointed in life.
Thank you for the quote, Misbah! I love the painting!
Kenna, Thanks a lot for sharing your beautiful thoughts. I appreciate that
Parents' love is precious. Surely, they are always there to love, care and, support. It's never about disappointment. Of course if we are alive then we have to breathe, we have to live.
But it's true that all of us face something in our lives that changes us completely. It never means that we will not be kind or loving to others or will not care about others feeling or will not respect them but it's just we are not the one same as we were before.
As we grow we learn. We learn how people manipulate, betray etc... I would say all of these things are important somehow for our growth but somehow these things destroy/break our innocence. Somehow, these things breaks us apart.
I also like that painting. Stay happy and healthy!!
Blessings and Love
Misbah -- We all have that same innocence for as long as we live, it's only that we have lost the touch with it, since the complexity of our priorities has estranged us from that inner child. But no matter what your age, if you can love the sight of a flower, a sunset, the face of that special person in your life -- and yes, this picture of a baby -- it's that inner child's expression of divine love that's destined to remain the essence of who you are. Stay blessed by it.
Sir, I completely agree and understand what you have said. My point was that time and experiences changes us. Have you ever seen a 7-year - old saying he can understand someone's manipulation or betrayal? No, of course. We learn as we grow. I believe it's important for our growth and spiritual growth to get hurt or to break apart. It leads us to a new journey.
I believe, we start to love God when we got hurt by someone we used to love so much. You mentioned the face of a loved one. And what if that person is the one who torn you apart?
A child is born with two fears, fear of height and fear of loud noise. Rest a man adopts afterwards. (According to science) Have you ever experienced a 10- year-old saying he understands politics? No. But we can start to understand it as we grow. Our perspective of viewing things changes.
Loving the divine. The only Super Power. We start to love God more when somebody breaks us apart. Only then we came to know the true love is only the Love of God.
Thanks for sharing your kind and generous thoughts. I truly appreciate that.
Stay happy and healthy!!
Blessings and Peace
It is too bad that we cannot carry the innocence of childhood all our days. Those who retain most of it are likely named saints.
Perhaps vulnerable as well Misbah. You are absolutely right. And likewise, the atrocious faces take advantage of the innocence around them, which makes it more fragile. Innocence cannot afford to be aggressive nor avenging. With the ugly faces around it shrinks in itself, tries to save its own respect and survives almost in an abyss of solitude
