Losing the ability to easily make comments is a hard pill to swallow for many of us, Bill.  Your Q & A Mailbag, John Hansen's poetry sparked by suggestions, and so many other articles needed feedback to be successful.  Going back and forth in the forums is not the same.  But, as you wrote, we do not own the site.  So, we can play ball, or not.  We will miss you, but look forward to following you on other sites.  May you be blessed with a long and productive life!

Thanks, Pamela, for showcasing Bill's latest Mailbag.

    Bill
We can just post elsewhere but the community here is terrific.
I wish HP management would understand, because we are losing some great writers.

As for Mary's question, do what is most important to you.   Finish all those milestones you want before it's too late...like this great adventure with your wife, Bev and do some traveling.

Being an observer of Human nature lets you see alot that others don't put much thought into and I imagine it helps with those characters in your books.

I think criticism is a hard pill to swallow, but I believe we are our own worst critic.

I know a few people who have a much better opinion of themselves than I have of them too.
More than likely they will never read your work...so no worries there.
And if they do...what's the worst thing to happen?

I hate that countdown, but there are six more issues.

You definitely have my curiosity peaked about the favor you are going to ask.
I guess we'll know soon enough.

Video was quite inspirational.   I loved the analogy using the apple and making charcters emotions show through by their actions.

Another great write.  Have a fantastic week.

Thank you for posting this, Pamela. Bill not only shares his writing skills with us, but he also teaches us how to become better writers. The most important thing though, is that he has brought so many of us together. Countless friendships have formed because of this man. HP has made a dreadful mistake.

Bill will always be a teacher no matter where he goes.
I'm a bit selfish because I'm with you & John, I like him here.

Yet I understand the importance of finishing life goals before it's too late, so I wish him tremendous success.

We might even find we love the direction he has taken and join him in his quest.

Maybe, comments will be restored (just like they were before the system was broken) before the final six mailbags and Bill will change his mind and decide to stay…wishful thinking.
As Linda says, Bill has brought so many of us together. We would not have connected as a community if not through his mailbag and other writing. However, things change and life moves on.
I wish you and Bev well in your new direction, Bill, and lets make the most of the remaining mailbags. We will keep in touch elsewhere anyway.

Another great mailbag, Bill.  The thing I enjoy the most about traveling is meeting people from different cultures and different parts of the world. It enlightens us to the incredible diversity that exists on this planet and I find that fascinating.

Interesting mailbag. It's sad that there are just six more issues. I guess you have made a wise decision regarding your new goals and intentions. Wish you all the best. As always, Happy Monday, Bill and a great start to the week.
