Superb poetry, Brenda, based on your own prompt, "Respect." Loved all of them especially the last one, "The Value of Respect."  I hope and pray that respect would get ingrained in every individual after reading insightful poetry on "Respect" like yours. I really appreciate how you have crafted your poems. Here is the link:

      Hello Brenda!
Beautifully expressed poems to highlight this important word. I liked all of your poems, and the thoughts expressed through them.
Yes, it’s important to teach the children the value of ‘respect’ from their foundation years. Then, it becomes a habit for them, and comes naturally.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post.
Thank you Rosina, for sharing Brenda’s excellent work.

I have read several poetry on respect by fellow writers. And I enjoyed reading them all. I look forward to the new word prompt this week.

Hi Brenda, l loved your response to your own word prompt 'Respect'. They have valuable lessons on respect. Elders need to be respected and children need to be taught from an young age, the value of respect. Have a great week and stay blessed.

I agree with John that each of these poems is an important aspect of respect. I enjoyed reading everything you wrote Brenda. I like your music choice also.

You earn the respect of others by respecting yourself and respecting others. It's really quite simple, and yet millions have not learned such an elementary lesson. Thank you for poetically expressing this truth.

Thanks Rosina for sharing Brenda's beautiful poems about the important values of showing respect to elders and more.  Times have certainly changed since I was a child!  I think that children who are taught to respect others thrive better in society.  It is a vital lesson to learn, and there is no better time than childhood.
