1) We love ourselves after so many mistakes, so why do we hate others for one or two mistakes they’ve made.
2) Clothing yourself with the best character is more appealing than clothing yourself with expensive labels.
3) If it doesn’t involve you, don’t get involved.
4) When you feel heartbroken and disappointed because things don’t seem to make sense, put your hands up and talk to the Almighty. You don’t need words if the hurt is too much. Speak silently from your heart. He made it. He will surely mend it.
5) Always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
6) Why do we lie? Is it because we are afraid of displeasing people? Or do we lie in order to appear to be better than we really are? Examine the heart. Whatever the reason, work on it!
7) When someone has failed in what they set out to do, don’t push them down even harder. Give a word of encouragement. Uttering good words to someone after failure is worth more than all the praise you can give after success.
8) We all get hurt. We all have wounds, but you cannot let that be an excuse to just sit around and do nothing. Remember, pain is part of life. Your emotional wounds strengthen you because they show you have lived a purposeful life.
9) I really appreciate those who correct me because without them, I might have been repeating my mistakes for a long time.
10) No matter how good you are to certain people, they may never reciprocate and treat you in the same way. Learn to accept this. It may not be easy but it’s the most logical and wise thing to do! Such is life. Don’t lose sleep over it!
11) If you live your life worrying about who hurt you and who broke you down, you’re going to end up being miserable. Learn to look at the positive side; who was always there and helped you back on your feet again and made you smile once more!
12) Be careful when you blurt out harsh words in harsh tones. The hurt might pierce deeper than you could ever imagine. You probably think a simple sorry can fix it. But think again. Words can leave scars. Some scars are more permanent than others.

You’ve included some excellent and thought-provoking advice in this list, Misbah. Thank you for sharing it. I’ve copied your post for my own benefit and will read it multiple times.
Excellent advice by Mufti Misbah. The third one hits the nail in today's world, where our little words get subjected to the most significant misinterpretations, leading to the very questioning of our noble intentions. I agree wholeheartedly - If something does not involve us, we should not get involved.
Thanks for sharing.
There's wisdom in every one of these quotes but #9 especially appeals to me. Thank you very much for sharing.

While having a debate with friends, a friend recently told me that text messages cannot hurt anyone's feelings because they are merely illusions. This is something I disagree with. I believe everyone of us are real people sitting behind the screens. We all have emotions and feelings. We do...

Do you tend to hold grudges or not?I tend to be a big grudge holder, even if I try not to. My friend did something really hurtful, and even though she thinks we're on good terms, I'm still pretty pissed. Are you the same way, or do you just get over it?
