Misbah, I love your well-written and heartfelt poem. The two quotes at the end are wonderful as well, and so true. You are already doing good deeds on this Earth.

    Misbah...
Thank you so much for putting these thoughts into words.

There is so much pain that goes along with loss.

Those constant thoughts & wanting to hide away so others don't see your pain.

The feeling of not wanting to go on Alone...
But that light...it shined in your room.

It brought you a beautiful message.   We all are indeed brought here on our own...i wonder what the journey was like.

In any case.  We need to feel blessed that we were allowed to share in someone else's joy...to be a part of something for awhile.

    In the end...we leave alone.
Though it would be nice to have a hand to hold...
But if we trust in God...
Our eternity is waiting for us

    Great work.

    Thanks for sharing John

Misbah has certainly created a heartfelt poem, as others have said. The nature of death is an important topic for all of us, since we can’t avoid it. I enjoyed reading Misbah’s poem and her thoughts about loss and death very much.

    Hello Misbah!
Beautiful and expressive and I am sure, it’s relatable to many, who have suffered the loss of their dear ones. Things can’t be the same as earlier, even if we try hard. It’s always in the mind, as we proceed and adjust with our lives.
Thank you for sharing this heartfelt post.
Thank you John for highlighting this in the forum.

    Hi Misbah,

Your poem about missing a dear departed person is something to which almost everyone can relate.  We must bide our time until it is our turn to leave this life and be reunited in eternity.  Grieving is hard work.  I also loved the quotes.
Thanks John for sharing her work with us.  This was written long ago, but the subject matter is evergreen.
