Alyssa has weaved us quite a story with four poems about the word prompt "Seasons. "
Each one is written as a feeling.

Alyssa...
You got it right...it is truly a dreary day here today.
The wind is blowing & many in my community are without electricity.
I love how you've tackled this word prompt "Seasons" by creating a piece for each season representing them as feelings.
"Autumn" tells us a story about how one waits until the precise moment to release all those pent up memories he's been harboring.
Weaving the perfect curse, savoring it until the time it can do the most damage.
Then watching as the other person's lies finally catch up with him.
"Winter" continues the saga as one asks how it feels to be someone's worst regret?
To realize they had planned to hurt you all along.
There's no need to beg for forgiveness
for it is through experience a lesson is taught.
In the "Spring" one sees a glimmer of hope as the sun shines.
Remembering how foolish it was to think loving arms would be there to welcome him home.
Now a storm is brewing and a sacrifice must be made.
"Summer" shows us how one survived against all the odds.
Living forever in a nightmare, waiting and thinking his time is near...but he still stands.
He's alive to go full cycle through another year of seasons.
Wow! What a way to express those secret feelings one hides deep as he continues to struggle through the torment.
He knows Revenge will be sweet and that although the memories will haunt him like a ghost for life...He will survive & be standing to face another day.
I'll post a link in the word prompt article.
A wonderful and unique interpretation of the seasons as only Alyssa can do. Amazing!
Thanks for sharing, Brenda.
Excellent interpretation of the seasons, Alyssa. Each of your verses are so deep and thought-provoking with the vagaries of the season and the human behavior perfectly matching steps in tandem. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poetry.
Thanks, Brenda for sharing Alyssa's work.
