Chitrangada, your poem reminds me of a quote by Eduardo Risso.

"For me, the blank page to draw on is a window to adventure."

Yes, all writers face this problem often when our muse fails us, and we are left staring at a blank page with nothing to write. At such times I always console myself and believe that I am on the way to writing something epic, and it is just that my next epic is taking a bit more time to get created.

As you have rightly mentioned, there can be many ways to remove the blank page from our life; meeting with other writers, going out for a breath of fresh air, or even doing something completely unrelated to the task at hand can help us to be more creative in our efforts.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem. The link is below.

Chitrangada, you did the write thing in writing about your lack of motivation. The Blank Page is a good title for the poem. I loved Ravi’s comment. Thanks for sharing.

This was a nice write about something all writers face. I usually take a walk or read some poetry of an artist I really admire. Often scrolling Allpoetry.com or other poetry sites helps as well.
