    Gianella has written us a couple of pieces on recent dreams that seem like nightmares.

    Take a few moments to read.

      Thos are both beautiful pieces. Has she written anything on angel numbers and how it relates to dreams? Specifically lucid dreaming? I've been reading a lot of this lately.

        im sorry, but i dont write on angel numbers website. and i am not familiar with lucid dreaming. but thank you i'm glad you enjoyed it. i do believe though on Angel numbers that happens when you see numbers like 111 777 888 etc often and sometimes searching the current time on the clock of what angel number is it and what message it brings. Its amusing.

    Gianella
    Your poem on "Losing My Passport and Travel Essentials" sounds like me when I'm trying to leave the house.
    I'm always forgetting something and have to unlock the door and go back inside.

    I wonder...where are you going on this trip to the airport.
    Does your boarding pass ever say?

    Dreams are something aren't they...and time travel sounds pretty nifty.

    If only I could do it in real life when I'm awake.

    Your piece, "Losing My Voice Feeling Helpless!"  Is a bit scary.

    It's an awful feeling not being able to talk or scream when you need too.

    I've woke up from nightmares trying to yell at the top of my lungs and nothing comes out.

    I usually think it's  real but much relieved when I finally realize it isn't.

    If I remember my dreams...they are in complete detail and color.

    A warning or a Devine message...nice to know.

    Great work gal.

    Dreams are definitely something...one never knows what to expect.

    I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

    Thank you for sharing about these recurring dreams in poetry, Gianella. I never have the same one more than once ... well as far as I know ... I rarely remember them.

    Gianella,, I am sure the dream would have been quite scary, missing the passport, boarding pass or even the travel document. I also had some of these dreams,, and in most cases,, the anxiety of planned travel makes us think of these unforeseen scenarios. Thanks for sharing

    Thanks Brenda for sharing Gianella's work.

    Loved both poems, Gianella! Very creative sharing emotions, fears, and messages from the conscious mind interpreting the unconscious mind Nice!! As intriguing as they are especially being told through poetry, from what I have learned what occurs in a dream gives hints to their meaning, though not about the content of the dream itself. In other words, dreams are a means of communicating to oneself, yet uses symbols and metaphors as writers do.

    Curious I poked about seeking meaning of your poems. From one article by Dream Dictionary next is what it shares;

    "Cannot speak

    If you can’t communicate in your dreams (you can’t talk or shout), it reflects your feeling that you are not being heard in your waking life (see voice.) You may feel ignored or not valued for your thoughts or suggestions. Difficulty speaking in dreams represents feelings of being “tongue-tied” in our waking lives. Do you work in a position where you have to “watch your tongue” and “swallow your words?” Recurring dreams of a blocked voice that began in childhood symbolize painful events in your past that you still don’t like to talk about."

    Another article by Dream Book, Why Can’t I Talk in My Dreams?, is at the following link.

    And, for losing your passport try the article next by auntyflo.com;

    Perhaps, those may give insight of value to you . . .

      Thank you Tim! Your words of appreciation for my article humbled me a lot especially you noticing the techniques I used for this poetry. Thank you for appreciating the craft that I do.

        Always intriguing to see how others interpret unusual dreams. The topic of dream interpretation is so personal, different dreams can mean different thing to different people depending on what is going on in their life! Those are beautiful poems. I wish I could put my dreams into such beautiful words!

        The link you sent was kind of light on the details, this article is much more extensive. https://dreamevaluator.com/passport-dream-meaning/

    Hi Gianella, I had a recurring dream {more of a nightmare} back in the day. It was of forgetting my locker combination and missing entire days of school! I cringe thinking back on it now.....thanks a lot! wink
    What is really weird is that I never forget combinations or passwords, etc., in real life. Very strange!!

      I've got dreams about school too, but it was really more of forgetting to take my school  bags out of the trunk with me to home then waking up realizing I never went out and luckily my bags are still here safe and in tact.
