    Hi Brenda,
Loved your poem. I won't say what it is about and spoil the fun. I wasn't certainly prepared for what was coming. But I wasn't scared; rather it gave me a broad grin. Loved the fun this morning. Looks like the day is going to be great. Thank you for sharing.

      Giggle + giggle!! smile

It's 2:02 a.m. my time now as I write this. Yup, my eyes are wide and bright, and TV not holding my interest. I slept the afternoon and evening away. So, here I am exploring HP and FB.

Love the Poem, Brenda!! I'm grinning from ear to ear now. I like the part with the ferocious beasts. That increased my growing imagination with the encounter of fright and mystery.

Well done! I have a sharp ear now listening to each creak and groan in my home. wink

        Oh Tim....
        Your words made me chuckle.

Don't you just love how reading something heightens that awareness around you?  Like that creaky floor...

I usually watch a couple half hour comedies before I fall asleep...especially if I just read one of John's Halloween stories.

Take care...nice to see I'm not the only one who strolls through HP in the middle of the night.

This was a fun poem, Brenda. My own monster in the mirror has scared me more than once. Well done on the prompt
