Brenda has written a thought-provoking poem on loyalty to be shown by the family in case of troubles/mishaps. The family that stays together in thick and thin is one to be cherished. Thanks, Brenda, for this message. As you have righly mentioned,we need to find time for the people we love.

Thanks so much Ravi for sharing this one.
We do find times for those we love...otherwise we have regrets
The family that stays together through thick and thin...
That is how it used to be.
Thanks, Brenda, again for this message. My personal opinion based on my experience is that friends(true friends I mean) prove to be more loyal than family in case of misfortune.I may be wrong but it has happened in my case.
Thanks Ravi...
It's a bit upsetting to know life goes this way...one would never think
But I guess life changes so much as the family unit changes through the years.
Loyalty seems to shine through with our friendships
Ravi..
True friends seem to be there more than family.
It’s a sad reality.
I love the moral line in your poetry, Brenda. Blood doesn't necessarily make family but loyalty does. It's true some family members won't visit you or care for you. But it's important we care for our loved ones when they need us the most. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Ravi, for posting Brenda's terrific poem.
Thanks Rosina...
Being Loyal is a value that I will always hold close to my heart.
It used to be that family was always there for you...i guess now it's fading away.
A powerful poem, Brenda, that hits home with some sad truths. True family isn’t always defined by blood. I know that only too well.
Thank you for sharing this, Ravi.
John...
You are right...a true family isn't always defined by blood.
When i grew up we were taught family was there for one another...but it surely doesn't seem to be the case here recently.
It's sad. But a reality.
John
This is one that I don't wish anyone to know too well.
Sorry to hear that you have
A good and loyal friend is very valuable, as Brenda has described in her poem. Loyalty does indeed make family. Thank you for sharing the poem, Ravi.
Thanks Linda...
I will take a loyal friend over a family member who is no where around.
Life is hard...we need each of us.
I love this poem that says so much, and I am sorry for unkind remarks that you have receive, Brenda. When my mother passed I was blessed with my family being so supportive. I know sometimes friends are more supportive then family though. I hope this year ends on a happier note for you Brenda as you have been through so many rough times this year.
Thanks for posting Brenda's poem, Ravi.
Pamela...
Thank you so much.
Some people can be unkind, but I know not everyone is...thank goodness.
I'm happy I have you & my Hubber friends.
But with this one...I realized it's not just me. Friends are the ones who seem to be the most loyal when it comes down to it.
Hello Brenda!
A very well done poem, and sadly I agree with the thoughts expressed in the poem. Not everyone, but there are some close ones, blood relations to be precise, who give the deepest wounds. The strangest thing is that their words and actions are most unprecedented.
I have come across many people who have had to face this sad situation in their lives.
But, thankfully there are families who are very supportive of each other. They stand with each other in happy and sad times.
Friends are also so important for us, as they take up the role of family, if someone doesn’t have that support.
I hope that you get all the love and support of your near and dear ones.
Thank you for sharing this, and thanks to Raviji as well.
Chitrangada...
It does seem like family are the ones who leave those deep scars.
Yet...they have no idea how much their actions and words hurt another.
I guess that's why we learn to forgive even if we cannot forget.
Thanks for the words - I am the hated family caregiver lol - no one really talks to me much until someone needs care - then ya know - it is me that is there - but yeah - I'm the bad guy. No regrets on my part though - ibelieve it is their own guilt that makes em be that way.
Destiny Rose...
It is absolutely their own regret.
As long as you know why you are there and don't mind the way the others treat you...quite honestly they probably have no clue how to care for others.
But yet...they call you..so you must not be hated when it comes to the care you can give.
Maybe just the black sheep of the family.
Yes, Brenda. Sad reality but true friends are any time better than relatives.
Thank you Ravi....I believe you are right.
A true friend knows you and accepts you. ..no matter what.
