    Val...
I actually love your article, but I am religious.
I recently started to be more in tune with my spiritual side which I believe is exactly what you are taking about in this article.

It is absolutely amazing when onecfeeks the connection of spiritual mysticism.

But to me...it's like becoming one with the Devine.

    Brenda dear,
I my modest estimate -- you may be better off by remaining religious, because spiritual mysticism requires way too much self-discipline, sacrifice, and adopting a whole new mindset. In short, I don't think that your recently "discovered spiritual side" is what I was talking about in my article. Spiritual mysticism is not something that we "discover" -- it's something that you have to cultivate -- and the effort is probably not what you are ready for.
You are a sweet person and a dear friend, but, to be honest with you, I don't see you as ready for that. It's not a fad.

A self-correction: The first sentence of my response to Brenda starts with: "In my modest estimate..." -- not "I my modest estimate"...

      Val...
      I'm totally aware it's not a fad.
It is like an actual communication between my soul and a higher existence or realm.

I find peace and comfort within it.  I also find answers.

No longer am I running on edge...I am calmer.
There is contentment flowing freely & I can simply sit and do nothing...if I want too.

I'm also looking into numerology and what numbers mean in our life, but I haven't gotten too far with that part yet.

But the inner spiritual side is full of healing, grace and love.

      And a lot of colors.

I don't know how to explain it yet, but since Ron passed away...there are new doors that open.
      Strange ones, but real.

    Brenda dear,
I am not doubting that you have found a sort of peace -- I am simply saying that it has nothing to do with spiritual mysticism which was the topic of my article. For one thing, spiritual mystics have no health issues. Just look at those ascetic looking yogis sitting at sidewalks of a Delhi street, under a scorching sun, not having anything to eat for days -- but healthy, at peace.
Besides, it's not just peacefulness that makes a spiritual mystic, for then every druggie would be one after enjoying his tranquilizing joint.
Again, I am simply saying that spiritual mysticism is MUCH MORE than that, and it's something to be cultivated, with self-discipline, meditation, disposing of ego and survivalism, and so much more.
I am certainly happy for you that you have found peace after your Ron was gone, and relaxed mind surely has its great benefits.
But finding peace compared to spiritual mysticism is like comparing ability to dance a twist with ability to dance like a prima-ballerina.

Thanks for pointing out a few differences Val.

I am grateful for your friendship and for this new found peace I've been experiencing.

I know I have quite a long journey to get to where I want to be...and perhaps I'll get there one day.

But yes, I guess this is not the same as what you have written.
