    Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth I because they were flawed like we all are but were strong women at a time that it was very much a man's world.

    Nelson Mandela - for the lack of bittness at being in solitary confinement for so many years - for becoming president and then sticking to what he said to serve only one term.  If only there were a few more politicians who were prepared to give up power.
