Where’s the best place for us to stay? House is the best answer. I thought most of us know well about this. We felt comfort by living inside our house. Today I get a lot of inspirations in sharing about amazing building concept. These are not a common building like the place we live. Even I give my thumbs up for these buildings. Most of these building very unique and it looks unusual. I know some of us may know some of these building more than me. Hopefully, there’s a feedback from us and share your experience with these buildings.

From trusted information, it’s so hard to build a good building. There are many factors to be considered. Real estate development involves several requirements, like: developers, planners, contractors, banking, government, and society. All parties must mutually support each other, so indirectly also will encourage the movement of people and regional economic advancement. These factors are very important to the success of an implementation project. Many developers who specialize in certain types of projects, such as: office buildings, hotels, housing or shops, many of which specialize in mixing some building products. In construction there are three phases of the development process:

• Preparatory activities for development..
• Implementation of development.
• Management and survival.

Before construction began, there are several preparations to be done. These activities include the selection of the location or place and determination of project feasibility. And other requirements like: Law and the environment, facilities (installation of running water, electricity, telephone, sewer), Technical factors (soil conditions, drainage and topography), location, aesthetics, community, and cost. The first time I saw this building, I just say “wow”. I never imagine before about kind of this building. I thought some of us who live in USA familiar and know very this building. After browsing on the internet, I got nice information about Wonderworks. This place is located in 100 Music Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, United States. Wonderworks are one of unusual building from outer appearance (dropped upside down on an existing building). From the information I collect, Wonderworks are amazing place where we can find several great family attractions with over 100 interactive exhibits for guests of all ages to explore, like: math, physics, science, and other educational programs. There are many interesting objects inside related with science, such as: earthquake, big piano, hurricane, bed of nails, 360 degree ride that you pedal, make a shadow, rock climb and all of these things are fun. Habitat 67 is an extraordinary housing development comprising about 158 units, completed with many small gardens and deck. Habitat67 is located in located on the Marc-Drouin Quay on the Saint Lawrence River at 2600, Pierre Dupuy Avenue in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Wikipedia.org). Habitat67 was created by architect Moshe Safdie. This building based on Safdie's thesis titled “"A Case for City Living, A Study of Three Urban High Density Housing Systems for Community Development". Actually this building was planned as a prototype to cut the cost, but unfortunately, construction costs proved to be prohibitive. It looks so complicated with 354 reinforced-concrete building modules which combine to form a three-dimensional space structure. It looks like many "boxes” was connected in varying combinations to create 158 residences.

Kansas City Public library is a public system headquartered in the Central Library in Kansas City, Missouri. (Wikipedia.org). The Kansas City Public library as the major resource library for the system, such as: central reference, customer service, document delivery, library outreach, youth services, collection maintenance and other services. There are many historical collections inside this building, like: news articles, maps, photographs, postcards, etc. From outer appearances this library looks like the rows of books in the building shape. This building complex is one of the masterpiece by the world famous Austrian architect, namely Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It called Waldspirale or we can translate this into English as forest spiral. This complex is located in Darmstadt, Germany. It was built in the 1990s, but the building was completed in 2000. Why it called as forest spiral because it has green roof. This building has conceptual design like an abstract painting with irregular shape. Waldspirale contains 12 floors and 105 apartments, parking garage, bar and café. We can see the café at the top of this building. This is beautiful building concept among trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. Again..beautiful and awesome!

Another amazing building concept came from Poland. This is unusual building shaped in the Rezydent shopping center in downtown Sopot, Poland. Actually this building name is Krzywy Domek or in English is the Crooked House. The Crooked House actually is houses with several tourist attractions, like: shops, bars and restaurant. Who is the man behind this building? This building was design by Szotynscy Zaleski. He was inspired by the children’s illustrations created by Jan Marcin Szancer. From the outer appearance, The Crooked House is like melted or sagged out of exhaustion.

This is a modern glass building located in downtown Prague, Czech Republic. The dancing house was constructed between 1992-1996 by Vlado Milunc and Frank O Gehry as the architect. Why this building called the dancing house? because this building resembles a pair of dancers, from the initially name “Astaire & Rogers Building". From the top of this building we can enjoy magnificent views and delightful cuisine.

Have you ever seen the world’s largest basket? Maybe this building is the right answer. This is seven story building like a basket in Longaberger's Home Office, Newark, Ohio. This building is replica of basket with remarkable size around 160 times larger of Longaberger's Medium Market Basket. With magnificent sight, especially if we see this at night. Wow…I can't wait to visit this “basket” in person. How about you?

This is unique building symbolizes unity and the prayer of the God. This building reflect spiritualism, symbolize of God, humanity and religion. Actually there are several Bahai House of Worship which is located around the world. This time I’ll choose the Bahai House in North America, the exactly place in Wilmette, Illinois. This temple is circular in shape, it has nine sides. There is something makes this place so amazing, because it was surrounded by exquisite gardens and fountains.

This is a great monument with height around 103 meters in Brussels, Belgium. This monument was built in 1958 with iron crystal shaped and magnified around 165 billion times. From outer appearance, Atomium contains nine pieces of steel balls with diameter around 18 m associated with the escalators in the cylinders to reach 114.8 feet (wikipedia.org). From the window, we can see the beauty of the city of Brussels. André Waterkeyn is the designer of this monument. Actually this monument designed to stand up for 6 months, but we can see this monument until now.

This building was originally called Casa Milà. The Pedrera actually means a “quarry”. This place was built between 1905–1910 and completed built in 1912. La pedrera was designed by Antoni Guadi. This building is located at No 92 Passeig de Gràcia at the junction with Carrer Provenca (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain). The first time, this building was constructed to house apartments and offices. But now we can see this as a museum and open to the public for viewing and tours. La pedrera is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site
