Hot pepper and fall bulbs - will the fiery hot pepper keep the squirrels away from my new bulbs?
I have always had dogs and alas I no longer do. Just purchased some expensive bulbs for spring and am worried about the squirrels.
Was considering planting hot peppered snacks with the bulbs.
I heard wire is helpful too.
Your thoughts, experiences?
I'm not sure if the hot peppers will work, but if any of the bulbs are daffodils you won't have to worry about those. The squirrels know they are poisonous to them and will leave them alone.
