Wood Burner, Multi Fuel Stoves - Can you cook on them and, if so, what type of equipment do you need
If a wood burner has a flat surface you can cook on it. There is no heat control other than how big you build the fire or whether you add a lid, etc. I have cooked really good meals on a large gas heater. For wood burners you need certain pipes and fire-proof insulation outlets from your home for the smoke to escape and not overheat to cause fire. Probably under the heaters too to keep the floor from over heating or hot ash from falling directly onto the floor and for easy clean up when emptying the ashes.
