Do you wear a hat when gardening out in the yard? Why do you wear one if so?

Yes, you need to wear a large brimed hat while gardening.

The hat serves two purposes; first of all, it protects your head from direct sun rays.  Secondly, the hat serves as a 'body cooler' when your body temperature elevates.

The hat, along with water consumption will keep you comfy and cool while gardening.  Also, keep you safe from a possible heat stroke.

    Happy Gardening!

Yes I definitely recommend wearing a hat. The reason for that is because there seems to be an increasing amount of skin cancers due to exposure to the sun. If you search online for photos of various skin cancers you will notice that the majority of photographs are of skin cancer on the face. I have had to have two basal cells removed personally so I highly recommend wearing a hat and some kind of UV protection.
